Security Seals and Holographic Labels for Spirits

Refilling is the problem here. A real bottle, a real label, and cheap drink inside. Only a seal on the cap catches it.

The problem

What you are defending against

Most fake spirits are refills. Empty bottles get collected from bars, filled with something cheaper and sold again. The bottle is real and the label is real. The only thing wrong is that the seal was opened once.

So the cap is the only place worth sealing. A hologram on the front proves the bottle is yours. It says nothing about what is inside it now.

Premium spirits have the same problem as cosmetics. Whatever you add has to belong on the bottle.

What we recommend

Tamper-evident VOID labels

A neck or closure seal that destroys itself on first opening. Combine it with a holographic layer so the seal is also a visible mark of authenticity on the shelf.

Specifications

Features worth specifying

  • VOID release across the closure
  • Holographic layer for shelf authentication
  • Serial numbering per bottle
  • QR code for consumer verification
  • Custom die to fit the neck profile

Not sure which of these you need? That is a normal place to start. Every feature, and how each one is checked

Things that change the specification here

Neck seals are a curved-surface problem

Bottle necks are tight radii and often tapered. The die shape and the film flexibility both have to suit the profile. Send us the bottle dimensions, or a sample bottle if the geometry is unusual.

Condensation and chilled storage

If the product is chilled or moves through cold chain, the adhesive sees condensation cycles that will lift a standard label. Say so on the quote form.

Tax stamps are a separate matter

If your market requires an official excise or tax stamp, that is government-controlled security printing and we are not the supplier for it. We can sit alongside one, but we will not pretend to replace it.

Tell us what you are protecting

Describe the product and the surface it goes on, and we will suggest a specification.
