You cannot photocopy a hologram. The image is pressed into metal foil from a master tool, and we hold the only copy of that tool. To fake it, someone has to cut a new master from scratch. That costs real money and takes weeks, which stops most people and slows down the rest.
We cut the master here, in our own plant. That keeps the price of a first order down, and your master never leaves our building. What we do with it is set out on the Quality & IP page. We sign an NDA before you send artwork.
Most orders use two features. One your customer can see, and one only your own people know about. The second is what settles an argument.

Before you ask for a quote
What do you need from me to start?
Your artwork as a vector file (AI, EPS or PDF), the label size, how many you need, and the country we ship to. No artwork yet? Say so, and we will tell you what the machine needs.
Can the hologram be copied?
Not by scanning or printing. Someone would have to cut a new master on the same kind of machine we use, and the copy still looks wrong under a loupe. Add a hidden feature and a good fake gets much harder.
Do you keep the master shim after production?
Yes, unless you tell us not to. It is stored under your name, never used for anyone else, and we return it or destroy it whenever you ask in writing.
Can you add sequential serial numbers?
Yes. Numbers can run in order or be random. Add a QR code and each label points to its own record.
