A hologram proves the product is yours. A VOID seal proves nobody opened the box after it left you. Most buyers want both, often in one seal.
The label has a weak layer built into it. Peel it and that layer splits in a set pattern, so part of the label stays stuck to the box. You cannot undo it and you cannot hide it.
Two options. Total transfer leaves the whole pattern on the box. Partial transfer splits it, so the mark shows on the box and on the label you took off.
Test this early. The surface changes how it behaves. A label made for smooth card acts differently on rough board, plastic or painted metal. Tell us the exact surface and we will match the glue to it.

What surfaces do VOID labels work on?
Smooth card, smooth plastic and painted metal are easy. Rough board, PP, PE and powder-coated surfaces need the right glue, so tell us the exact surface when you ask for a price.
Can the VOID pattern say something other than VOID?
Yes. It can say your brand name, or show a honeycomb pattern instead of a word.
Can a VOID label also be holographic?
Yes, and most orders use both. The hologram proves it is yours. The VOID layer proves nobody opened it.
Does the pattern come off the packaging afterwards?
No. That is the point. Once it transfers it stays, which is what makes it proof.
